Bet365 Live Blackjack Review
Let’s first get down to the nitty gritty of what’s available at the Bet365 Live Blackjack tables.
Bet365 use the Playtech software solution to deliver live blackjack, with two variations on offer, normal 7 seat blackjack, which has the option of allowing you to sit at up to 3 seats (multi-seat) and unlimited blackjack ( where an unlimited number of people can play – more of that later). It’s a standard 8 deck game, with the shoe being manually shuffled when approximately 4 decks have been dealt.
In common with Fairway Casino, Bet365 offer Perfect Pairs (player and dealer), insurance and Bet Behind as the only side bets.
The dealer stands on all 17’s and takes his second card with the players on the table. He does not check for blackjack when an ace is showing but does offer insurance.
A burn card (a card removed from the top of the deck) is taken before each hand and when the deck is shuffled.
I’ve listed the features you can expect to find at the Bet365 Live casino in the grid below.
What is it like to play at Bet365?
In terms of Blackjack, Bet365 have done a pretty good job and I enjoy playing here. I’ve always found the dealers friendly and helpful, unlike the help text which I’ve found to be very generic in it’s form and not giving the information I actually wanted about the game. I find it better to ask the dealers direct, which they are more than happy to do, unless it’s a question about your account or banking and the like. They don’t get involved in the Casino side of the business and can’t for obvious reasons, as players from multiple online casinos could be sitting at their table.!
Access to the tables can be through the Bet365 download or direct from their live casino website. Quite honestly there is no difference between the two in terms of functionality. I normally play using the no download option, and have seldom had any problems.

The Games
- Normal 7 seat blackjack with a multi-seat option. You can play up to 3 additional seats if the tables are not busy. 8 Card decks are used and they are shuffled approximately half way through the shoe.
- Unlimited Blackjack – There are 5 seat positions here and you can bet on as many of them as you like. The unlimited refers to the number of players that can play the hands, so is a good way to play blackjack if seats on the normal tables are full. When its your turn to act you make your playing decision regardless of how others are playing the hand. The result of the hand for you is based on your decision. Others playing the same hand may chose to do something different from you, for example take another card when you have already stuck. It doesn’t matter as the result is dependent on what you do against the dealer. In a split situation you only have the option to ‘Split’ or ‘Fold’. If you do not want to split, click ‘Fold’. Your bet will be returned to you minus 20% and you will be out of the game round. If you choose to split, an additional bet amount is taken from your balance and your bet is doubled. You will then be dealt an extra card for each split card and will have the option to ‘Hit’, ‘Stand’ or ‘Double’ for each new hand. Note that split aces only receive one card.
I like the fact that the features of the game are not restrictive (i.e. to increase the house edge) and I can live without there being a VIP table and no bet behind side bet. Both of these are less of an issue for me. I do like the fact that I can double on any card and after splits, this is a big positive. 🙂

Banking Options
They have a good range of banking options and depositing and withdrawing is quick. I tend to use my debit card and withdrawals back to that are normally same day, which is pretty good. A full list of the banking options available at Bet365 is listed above.
Side Bets
Perfect Pairs is the side bet offered at Bet365. You can read more about it here. The odds are fairly standard at online live casinos. At Bet365 they are:
Disconnections
Wonderful as technology is you might experience a disconnection from the game you are playing. On the rare occasions when that happens, re-establish your connection and log back into the casino. You will be automatically directed to a non-live version of the game you were playing so you can finish the game round. Note, only the cards that were on the table at the moment of disconnection are carried over to such a game round. In some cases the video stream may allow you to see dealer cards drawn or revealed after your disconnection. These cards are not carried over to the non-live game round.
Summary
Bet365 offer a good fair live blackjack game. The features are not restrictive and I always enjoy playing there. Fast cash outs and good friendly support are a bonus. This is an established and well respected online live casino and you won’t be disappointed in playing here.
