What is Ezugi Live Sic Bo?

Ezugi Live Sic Bo is the first of three new live dice game titles being launched by Ezugi.

Thankfully, the first game, Live Sic Bo, follows the traditions of the original authentic Asian Dice game.

That’s a great place to start and one that should introduce new players gently to the art of playing online live dealer dice games, and for the more experienced player give them something they are more familiar with.

The setup for Ezugi Live Sic Bo is quite simple – a Sic Bo Dice shaker sits on top of a specially designed pedestal, while the live dealer sits to one side, being there to commentate on the game and initiate the dice shake once betting time has been completed.

The playing interface is entirely computer generated and overlays the physical studio view, so you get a complete view of the betting grid and betting options.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

How to play Ezugi Sic Bo Online?

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Ezugi Live Sic Bo is played by predicting and betting on the result of three dice, that are shaken in a glass dome.

There are lots of betting options, which are based on totals, the appearance of a number, multiples of a number, or combinations of numbers.

The game round starts with twenty seconds of betting time, where you get to place your bets on a betting grid, picking out the combinations you want to bet on.

When the betting time has closed, the dealer will press a button that activates the shaker in the glass dome. The dice skip and dance around under the dome until they come to rest.

The numbers facing up on each dice make the result.

The system calculates the results – compares that with your bets and you’re informed whether you have won, with a celebration animation in the middle of the screen.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”28195″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

How To Bet On Ezugi Sic Bo?

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”28198″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]On the face of it, betting on Ezugi Sic Bo looks very complicated. The look of the betting grid doesn’t help, dominating the screen as it does.

But once you get over what it looks like, the actual betting is very straightforward.

Put simply you can bet on:

  • Specific Dice Totals – the total of the three dice added up.
  • Dice Total Ranges  – the total of the 3 dice being below or above a certain total (known as Big/Small).
  • Two Dice combinations – Combinations of two of the dice that are non-doubles.
  • Singles – one of the dice being a specific number.
  • Doubles – two of the three dice being the same number.
  • Triples – all the dice showing the same number. These can be placed as specific triples or any triples.

To get you started the most straightforward bet is the Big/Small Bet, which is an each-way bet that pays 1:1, even money.

Bet Big if you think the total of the three dice will be between 11 & 17, or Small if you think the total will be 4 to 10. Note, that if a triple is rolled the bet loses.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Ezugi Sic Bo Payout Odds

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]The payouts for Ezugi Live Sic Bo compare well with the other versions of Sic Bo you can play.

You are missing out on the Odd/Even bet, but other than that the payouts are comparable.

Be careful with some of the bets, which get voided should a triple be thrown. It’s not many of them but it’s worth knowing which ones are affected.

Check out single bets, as these can pay out even if a double or triple is thrown. The return is obviously less than if you’ve bet on a double or triple separately – but you still get rewarded which is a good thing.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”28212″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”28213″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Return to Player (RTP)

A return to player of 97.22% can be expected using the Big/Small bets as the reference point.

Overall the RTP has a range of between 95.02 to 97.22%, which is dependant on the bets being placed.

The bets with the highest payouts will have the lowest return to the player over the long term.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Road Maps and Game Statistics

Every result of the three rolled dice rolled is recorded in a series of statistical charts and roadmaps. The purpose is to provide information on past events, so you as the player can use that knowledge to try and predict a future result. The stats are used as the basis of most playing strategies in this game.

How likely are you to be able to predict a future result? Well, that is the perennial question and one asked by gamblers and especially Baccarat players for hundreds of years.

The statistics in Ezugi Live Sic Bo are grouped into two types.  A road map for the Big/Small bet and a statistics list for the actual roll results.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”28216″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]This chart depicts a number of elements of the last rolls of the dice.

  • The total number of the three dice added up.
  • A depiction of the value on each dice.
  • The percentage of the rolls being Big or Small and also the percentage that Triples took.
  • The last ten rounds are shown.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”28217″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The road map is displayed in a more traditional view and depicts for each game round whether the result was Big or Small and the sequence the results occurred.

You read the chart from left to right. After the first result, if the next is the same it is recorded in the same column as the first. If it is different then a new column is started. With this type of road map, you can see sequences and whether the results are choppy.

A T stands for Triple.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Ezugi Live Sic Bo Betting Strategy

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Let me start by saying that big wins on Ezugi Sic Bo come when you either bet big on a low-risk betting option or when you’re betting on the positions that have the biggest payouts.

What is common to both is making sure you have a bankroll that will last for the type of risk you’re prepared to take.

I like to think of a game like Ezugi Sic Bo as having three types of bets.

  1. Lower risk bets – where my chance of winning is about 50-50. Of course, it’s not because the house has to have an edge, which is why even money bets get voided if a triple is rolled.
  2. Medium Risk Bets – where I’m betting more, but generally get a return on most rolls of the dice. I’m likely to turnover my bankroll a lot and have an extended playtime.
  3. Higher Risk bets – these are not likely to come in that often, but when they do they pay well (often just covering the losses you’ve had before).

Let’s have a look at each one in a bit more detail.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Lower Risk Bets

[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Lower risk bets are those where the outcome is generally one of two results.

In Sic Bo this is the Big / Small bet – The result will either be a total between 4 & 10 or a total between 11 & 17.

There is a third option – which is a triple. If this is rolled you’ll lose as this isn’t one of the betting options.

If you want to hedge this bet, then place a bet on the Any Triple section, making sure it’s enough to cover the previous losing bets if it wins. – If you want to know how much to stake you can work out how often a triple comes in by looking at the statistics.

This bet can be placed with Big or Small sums – it’s all down to the bankroll you start with. My advice is to not bet more than 10% of your bankroll in any betting round.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”28221″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_single_image image=”28220″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_separator][vc_column_text]

Medium Risk Bet Strategy

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]To get better returns we need to adopt a riskier strategy when playing Ezugi Sic Bo online.

This is the section where I sit when I’m playing. I like to mix it up a bit and play in a number of different ways.

I’m always considering how to keep my bankroll turning over, waiting for that one win that will make me do a withdrawal.

For me it’s not necessarily about how big the win is, it just needs to be more than what I sat down with originally, and also I have to have a decent amount of playtime too. After all, it’s all about being entertained.

So this approach or strategy is about placing riskier bets than 1:1, but still hedging them in some way, so if one bet fails the other comes in, thus minimising the losses.

Some example bets

  • 1st Bet – I place a Big/Small bet and then a small bet on the Any Triple section.
  • 2nd Bet – Place a bet on a two dice combination – pick anyone that takes your fancy, they all pay 5:1. Then, place a bet on a number not covered by the two combo dice. This will pay even money for a single, 2:1 for a double, 3:1 on a Triple.
  • 3rd Bet – Play a large payout bet, like any triple or named triple. Then also place a bet on one of the total bets at the 6:1 payout mark.

My Favourite Sic Bo Strategy

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]This is my favourite betting strategy for betting on Ezugi Live Sic Bo.

It simply involves placing a bet on each betting position that contains one of the number s of one through to six, or a betting position where the numbers make up the total of the number.

I call this my Number Strategy.

Pick one number, let’s say that number is four.

I now place a bet, where ever there is a four in the betting position, or the total equals four.

  • Small
  • Total Bets – 4 or 14
  • Single Number – 4.
  • Double – Double 4.
  • Triple – Triple 4.
  • Any Triple
  • Combinations – 1&3, 1&4, 2&4, 4&3, 4&5, 4&6.

You don’t have to use 4 but you get the idea.

If one 4 appears in the 3 dice you’ll make your money back plus some. If there are no fours, it’s still possible to win as long as the total of two or three dice equals 4.

I use four as an example – my choice will be influenced by the previous statistics and seeing which are the “Hot” numbers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”28227″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_single_image image=”28226″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Devices – Play on Pc or Mobile

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In my opinion, this game is best played on a desktop in full-screen mode.

You get to see all the information clearly and without having to adjust anything.

Mobile is a viable alternative, but if you want to watch the live stream it’s not the best viewing experience. You have to rely more on the computer-generated graphics to tell you what’s going on.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Video Review of Ezugi Sic Bo

It’s great that Ezugi has built its first dice game based on the traditional SIc Bo. It’s a great place to start.

The game plays well and quickly, and all of the information you need is easily at hand in the playing interface.

The styling and presentation of the game are simple and effective – I like that they haven’t gone with the traditional Asian theme and gone for something more generic, as that will help attract more players.

There is an issue when they are using taller dealers, as their head gets obscured by the playing interface. I suggest they perhaps look at repositioning the dealer to the right side as we look.

Other than that this is a good addition to their portfolio of live dealer games.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
